Pratap Singh, born on October 1, 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Law and a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Director, Vice Chairperson, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, and District Magistrate. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department from July 1, 1991, to October 1, 1994.
