Prashant M Wadnere, born on 12 May 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2008 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.Sc. from MPK Vidyapeeth Rahuri, Maharashtra, and an M.A. from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Finance Department (Expenditure) of Tamil Nadu since 1 August 2025. His previous roles include Additional Secretary to Government, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, Assistant Collector, and Additional Secretary. He is proficient in English and Marathi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
