Prashant Kumar Singh, born on 20 June 1970, is a 1993 batch IAS officer of the Manipur cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and an M.A. in Public Policy from TERI University, Delhi. Currently, he serves as Secretary at the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, New Delhi, since 17 July 2025. His extensive career includes roles such as Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to Government, Commissioner, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Secretary to Chief Minister, Deputy Commissioner, and Additional District Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
