Dr. Prashant B. Narnaware, an IAS officer of the 2009 Maharashtra cadre, currently serves as Secretary to the Governor of Maharashtra since February 5, 2025. Born on September 11, 1980, he holds a B.D.S. from Govt. Dental College, an LL.B. from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and an LL.M. from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. His past roles include Commissioner, Joint Managing Director, Managing Director, District Collector, and Under Secretary. He has received several awards, including the Indian Express Excellence in Governance Award and the Beti Bachao Award. He is proficient in English and Marathi.
