Prasanna Ramaswamy G, born on 27 February 1987, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from SASTRA University, Tamil Nadu, and an M.A. from Mumbai University. Currently, he serves as Commissioner in the Tribal Affairs Department, Jammu and Kashmir, a position he has held since 13 January 2026. His previous roles include Secretary and Administrative Secretary. Prasanna is proficient in English and Tamil and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
