Dr. Pramod P Deo, born on December 10, 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1972 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics, a Post Ph.D. in Energy Planning, and a graduate degree in Applied Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Chief Electoral Officer, Secretary, Economist, Director, Joint Secretary, Private Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, Joint Director, Additional Collector, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was as a Member of the Maharashtra State Electricity Regulatory Commission. Dr. Deo’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative portfolio within the Maharashtra government.
