Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. His most recent position was Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, New Delhi, starting 7 January 2025. He is proficient in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Oriya, and Sanskrit.
