Dr. Pramod Kumar Mishra, born on 11 August 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1972 Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Development Economics and Economics, along with a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. His most recent position was Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, New Delhi, starting 7 January 2025. He is proficient in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Oriya, and Sanskrit.
