Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. Most recently, he was the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, New Delhi, starting January 7, 2025. He is proficient in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Oriya, and Sanskrit.
