Prakash Kumar, born on December 31, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1999 batch of the Bihar cadre. He served in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. His most recent designation was Secretary, a position he held from December 29 to December 31, 2016. Prior to this, he served as a Special Officer. Throughout his career, Kumar contributed to various administrative roles within his cadre and department until his retirement.
