She holds a Graduate degree in English Literature from Mumbai University, an LL.B., and an M.Sc. in Urban Studies from the London School of Economics. Her past roles include Joint Secretary, Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Secretary, Commissioner of Excise, Joint Managing Director, Joint Commissioner (Enfo), Deputy Director General, ED-DDG, Deputy Secretary to Chief Secretary, DG, District Collector and District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, and Joint Secretary. Since 19 February 2026, she is awaiting posting in Maharashtra. She has received multiple awards for Panchayat Raj and water conservation efforts.
