Pragyan Ram Mishra, born on 27 September 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1996 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. During his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, District Collector, and Administrator. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Rural Development Department, a role he held from 13 January 2011 to 30 September 2012. Throughout his tenure, he contributed to the administration and governance of Uttar Pradesh until his retirement.
