Pradip Kumar Tripathi, born on 18 June 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 batch, Jammu & Kashmir cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Civil Engineering, a postgraduate degree in Structural Engineering, and an M.Phil. in Defence & Strategic Studies from Madras University. Currently, he serves as Lokpal Secretary at New Delhi since 28 May 2024 in the Department of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary to Governor, Director General, Commissioner & Secretary, Managing Director, and District Development Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
