Pradip Kumar Tripathi, born on 18 June 1964, is a 1987 batch IAS officer of the Jammu & Kashmir cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Civil Engineering, a postgraduate degree in Structural Engineering, and an M.Phil. in Defence & Strategic Studies from Madras University. Currently, he serves as the Lokpal Secretary at New Delhi in the Department of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions since 28 May 2024. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary to Governor, Director General, Commissioner & Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Commissioner, and Sub Divisional Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
