Over his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Chief Electoral Officer & Principal Secretary in the Election Department from 2 April 2011 to 28 February 2017.
