Pradeep Kumar Agarwal, born on 21 November 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 Punjab cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and an M.A. in Mechanical Engineering from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation Department under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, New Delhi (since 15 September 2023). His previous roles include Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Special Secretary, Director General, Director, Chief Administrator, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub Divisional Magistrate, and Assistant Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
