Over his career, he served in various capacities including Resident Commissioner at New Delhi (January 2019 to April 2022), Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Secretary to Chief Minister, Private Secretary, Director, Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, and Additional Director. His service was primarily within the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department. Sarangi’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple key roles across the Uttar Pradesh government.
