Prabh Das, born on October 30, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. During his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary in the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas from March 20, 2003, to March 5, 2008. His past positions include Chief Executive Officer, Special Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Magistrate, Executive Director, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub Divisional Officer.
