Piyush Goyal, a 1994-batch IAS officer from Nagaland cadre, was born on 01/07/1972. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engg. from Banaras Hindu Univ. Varanasi(UP) and an M.Tech. in Behav Science from IIT Delhi. Goyal serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the Department of Home Affairs. Fluent in English and Hindi, he has excelled in his administrative career with a focus on public service and governance.
