Piyali Sengupta, born on August 16, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2001 batch, West Bengal cadre. She served in the Information and Cultural Affairs Department, holding the position of Additional Secretary from January 1, 2015, to August 31, 2021. Prior to this, she held the role of Joint Secretary. Throughout her career, Sengupta contributed to the administrative framework of her cadre until her retirement.
