Pirthi Chand, born on June 6, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2001 batch, Punjab cadre. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Secretary, and Deputy Commissioner. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Urban Development and Housing Department, from March 29, 2012, to June 30, 2014. Mr. Chand’s tenure in the IAS reflects his commitment to public administration within the Punjab cadre.
