Dr. Pinky Jowel, an IAS officer of the 2003 batch from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, was born on September 25, 1974. She holds a B.D.S. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently, she serves as the Mission Director & Secretary in the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Lucknow, since June 17, 2023. Throughout her career, Dr. Jowel has held various positions including Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Commissioner, Managing Director, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate. She continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
