Pawan Kumar Sharma, born on 30 August 1973, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1999 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. in Economics from Indira Gandhi National Open University, an M.E. in Production Engineering from Delhi Technological University, and a Ph.D. in Quality Management from Delhi University. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Election Commissioner at the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, since 15 September 2025. His past roles include Assistant Collector, Sub Divisional Officer, Revenue Divisional Commissioner, Commissioner, Secretary, Additional Commissioner, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Joint Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
