Pawan Kumar Sain, born on 30 November 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 batch, A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, an LL.B. from Goa University, and an M.A. in Economics from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Chief Electoral Officer at Itanagar since 14 September 2023. His previous roles include Joint Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, PS to Minister of State, Secretary, and Special Secretary. He has been awarded the Governor Silver Medal for Good Governance. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Rajasthani.
