Pawan Kadyan, born on 28 April 1986, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2012 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. Currently, he serves as Inspector General of Registration & Commissioner of Stamp Revenue, West Bengal, since 12 August 2025. His previous roles include District Collector and Magistrate, Assistant Collector and ADM, Senior Special Secretary, Joint Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, Administrator, and Sub Divisional Officer. He has received multiple awards, including the Excellence in Governance Award, National Award 2020 for Swachh Bharat Mission, and Best Performance Awards in various government programs. He is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi.
