Currently serving as Director at the National Horticulture Mission, Karnataka since 1 January 2026, he has held multiple positions including Special Secretary to Government and Commissioner roles. With extensive experience in administrative functions within the Karnataka cadre, Patil continues to contribute to public service in his current capacity.
