Parwez Ahmed Siddiqui, born on 12 January 1971, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.E. and an LL.B. degree. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary of the Food and Supplies Department since 17 April 2020. His past roles include Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Officer on Special Duty, Under Secretary, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Magistrate. He received the Award of Excellence for the Integrated Financial Management System project of the Finance Department, Government of West Bengal. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Urdu.
