Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Karnataka
Parmesh Pandey, born on 31 July 1960, is a retired IAS officer from the 1985 Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka from 4 May 2016, Principal Secretary, Executive Director, Managing Director, Commissioner, Chief Secretary, and Officer on Special Duty to Minister. His service was primarily within the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms. Pandey’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple leadership and executive roles across the Karnataka state government.
