Parameswaran Iyer, born on April 16, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1981 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a Diploma in Management, a Graduate degree in English, and a postgraduate degree in Public Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary, Private Secretary, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Director, Secretary, V.R.S. Director, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent designation was Executive Director at the World Bank, Washington DC, USA. He is male and has contributed extensively to public administration before retirement.
