Pankaj Kumar, born on September 10, 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2002 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) in Lucknow since March 2, 2021. His previous roles include Principal Staff Officer, Mission Director, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Joint Magistrate, and Director and Managing Director. Fluent in English and Hindi, Pankaj Kumar continues to contribute to the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
