Pankaj Kumar, born on April 12, 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2002 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.E. degree from Delhi University. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Project Director, Development Commissioner, Commissioner, Member Secretary, District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, and Joint Secretary. Currently, he is posted in the General Administration Department (GAD) of Maharashtra since February 5, 2025. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
