P Ulaganathan, born on April 9, 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Sc. from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, an M.Sc. from CCS University, Meerut, and a Ph.D. from IARI, New Delhi. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development, West Bengal. His previous roles include Secretary, District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, and Junior Scale officer. He is proficient in English and Tamil.
