P S Vastrad, born on September 10, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 Karnataka cadre. He holds an M.Sc. in Zoology from Karnatak University, Dharwad, and an LL.B. in Law from Gulbarga University. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner Director, Director, Deputy Commissioner, and Commissioner. His most recent position was Secretary of the Co-operation Department, a role he assumed on August 27, 2016. Mr. Vastrad’s extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the Karnataka government.
