P Ravi Kumar, born on May 3, 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Karnataka cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics, along with a P.G. Diploma and Diploma in Econometrics. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Additional Chief Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka in the Energy Department, starting November 28, 2017. Throughout his tenure, he held multiple key roles such as Chief Secretary, Commissioner, and Officer on Special Duty to the Minister, contributing to the administrative framework of Karnataka.
