P Rama Mohana Rao, born on 15 September 1957, is a retired IAS officer from the 1985 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a B.Com. and M.Com. in Cost Accounting and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Joint Secretary, Executive Director, Director, Commissioner, Chairman and Managing Director, Vice Chairman, and Secretary. His notable roles include Agril Production Commissioner and Secretary, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister in the Chief Minister's Secretariat from 16 May 2011 to 30 September 2017.
