P Panneervel, born on 17 September 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1978 Gujarat cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in Zoology and an MBA in International Finance, along with a graduate degree in Zoology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner, Managing Director, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in the Department of Labour and Employment from October 2012 to September 2013.
