P N Singh, born on January 1, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English Literature. Throughout his career, Singh served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Under Secretary, Chief Under Secretary, Managing Director, Sub-Divisional Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, and Additional Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department from December 1, 1992, to December 31, 1996. Singh’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Indian government.
