P N R Chowdhury, born on January 22, 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1977 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics and a postgraduate degree in Applied Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Chairman, Secretary, Vice Chairman, Director General, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Principal Secretary in the General Administration Department (NRI and ART) at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from November 9, 2009, to January 31, 2011.
