He holds a graduate degree in Zoology and a postgraduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Joint Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Special Collector, Project Officer, Joint Collector, District Revenue Officer, Managing Director, Administrator, Revenue Divisional Officer, and Manager. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Information Technology Department from May 16, 2005, to April 30, 2007.
