Commissioner, Department of Planning and Programme Implementation
P Laxminarayana, born on 24 February 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a Ph.D. in Botany. During his career, he served in various capacities including Special Collector, Joint Collector, Deputy Secretary, and Project Director. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Department of Planning and Programme Implementation from 1 January 2002 to 28 February 2005.
