P L Sharma, born on January 1, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English. Throughout his career, Sharma served in various capacities including Deputy Collector, Additional Collector, Under Secretary, Deputy Director, Deputy Commissioner, and multiple terms as Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in Madhya Pradesh from July 1, 1992, to November 1, 1995. He was associated with the Culture Department during his service. Sharma’s extensive administrative experience spans several key roles within the Madhya Pradesh government.
