P L Darbar, born on 13 May 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 Gujarat cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Additional Rural Development Commissioner, Additional Development Commissioner, and District Development Officer. His most recent position was Commissioner at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in the Department of Fisheries from 27 June 2012 to 31 May 2015. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administration and development initiatives within the Gujarat cadre.
