P Krishnamurthy, born on 07/09/1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch, serving in the A G M U T cadre. He holds postgraduate degrees in International Studies and Political Science, and a graduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Chief Electoral Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Principal Secretary to Government, PS to Minister, Director, Deputy Commissioner, and Deputy Secretary. Currently, he serves as the Chairperson in the Department of Chemicals and Fertilizers, New Delhi, a position he assumed on 26/10/2024. He is proficient in Hindi and Telugu.
