P J Patel, born on 15 August 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 batch of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Education in History and a Graduate degree in Economics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, District Development Officer, and Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 1 August 2000 to 31 August 2002. Mr. Patel’s extensive service in the Gujarat cadre reflects his commitment to administrative roles until his retirement.
