P. Guruprasad, born on June 4, 1972, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Housing and Urban Planning Department of Uttar Pradesh since January 14, 2025. His previous roles include Assistant Magistrate, Excise Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary, Additional Land Reforms Commissioner, Chief Development Officer, Joint Magistrate, and Managing Director. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
