P Ekambaram, born on June 1, 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1998 Tamil Nadu cadre. A graduate by education, he has held various positions including Deputy Secretary, Joint Commissioner, District Collector, Member Secretary, and Director. His most recent role was Managing Director of The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD Board) from September 24, 2011, to May 31, 2013. Throughout his career, he served in multiple capacities within the Tamil Nadu government, contributing to administrative functions until his retirement.
