P D Bandhopadhyay, born on 27 October 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in the Forest Department, holding the position of Joint Secretary from 12 June 2009 to 31 October 2013. Throughout his career, he occupied the role of Joint Secretary in multiple capacities.
