P C Mitra, born on February 7, 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Odisha cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in History. During his career, he served in various capacities including Managing Director, Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Secretary, Junior Scale officer, Executive Officer, and Additional Secretary. His most recent designation was Additional Magistrate from March 1, 1991, to February 1, 1992. He was also associated with the Land Revenue Department as Director of Census Operations.
