P. C. Jaffer, born on 31 May 1976, is a 2003 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Karnataka cadre. He holds degrees in B.Sc., B.Ed., and M.Ed. Currently, he serves as Secretary to Government (Budget & Resources) in the Finance Department at Bengaluru since 10 August 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Commissioner, Registrar, State Project Director, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Chief Executive Director, Deputy Secretary, and Assistant Commissioner. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Malayalam. Jaffer continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
