P Basanth Kumar, born on 20 May 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. He served as Managing Director of the Swachh Andhra Corporation from 6 April 2023. Throughout his career, he held various positions including District Collector and Magistrate, Special Officer, Metropolitan Commissioner, Vice Chairman, Joint Secretary to Governor, Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate, and was also on compulsory wait. His extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the Andhra Pradesh government.
