P Bandyopadhyay, born on June 16, 1944, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Director, and Additional Magistrate. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Land Reforms department, a role he held from March 1, 2001, to January 31, 2003.
