P B Patani, born on 15 March 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in English literature and an LL.B. in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Director, District Development Officer, and Commissioner. His most recent position was Commissioner at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 8 September 2010 to 31 March 2012. He was associated with the Department of Fisheries during his service.
