Onkar Chand Sharma, born on February 3, 1967, is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree and is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Tribal Development Department of Himachal Pradesh since June 19, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Principal Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Managing Director, Secretary, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Director, Additional Deputy Commissioner, SDO, Assistant Commissioner, and BDO. He is proficient in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, and Urdu. Sharma continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
